The Grand Canyon offers many different accommodations, each with its own charm. For the more adventurous camping and backpacking are available, as well as one- and two-day mule trips to various spots within the Canyon. Others prefer the rustic and historical charm of the cabins or hotel rooms in the area.

Gating must be part of a development’s initial plan. If not included, 100 percent of the property owners must agree to pay for the added the installation. Costs are high as the streets have to be purchased from the city so non-gated neighborhoods usually stay that way.
